Minty's Minions' lead at the top of the table was slashed to a mere 32 points this week.

That's sarcasm.

Manager of the Week is Dave 'Only Hope Of An Upset' Clayton.  His Second-placed Pyeators scored a large 25 points.  It's a shame they're not still in the OFFL Cup as that score would, of course, have seen them through to the Semis.

The Poorest Gag of the Studmarks Season So Far

Mike Smears is still with us.  The bedside vigil has been keeping his weak pulse registering a gentle beeping on the heart monitor machine.  It was the news this week that his Irishpool have won him a Manager of the Week certificate that brought him out of the coma, a coma which he slipped into after pressing send on his last ranting email.

According to his wife, Christine, he's been sitting up in bed joking with the nurses.  In case he relapses, it mustn't be mentioned that he has to share the certificate with Guy Harewood, whose 'Bird Is The Word' inspired 'Com-a ma mau papa com-a mau' also scored 20 points this week.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to OMG Chairman, the order he barked to the governess of his two sired mini-mes was taken a little too seriously by Newcastle's Chairman Mike cAshley: The Governess couldn't decide which pushchair to retrieve from the boot of the Rolls so he flippantly blurted "Get the MacLaren out!".  And the rest is history.

Eat your heart out Henry II.

And that's about as good as it's going to get for this week.  It's now up to you to press the big red button in front of you that'll turn your 'The Voice'-like throne around in acceptance of yet another poorly warbled-out Studmarks.

Week 32: Arise Dame Meaden

W = Bad Wolf United, F = Ashley Keeler, P = Karyn Meaden

Yet another [yawn] Manager of the Week certificate [yawn] wings itself to Windsor as [yawn] Ms Colquhoun nets a modest 13 points, 8 points above the League average for the week. But that's not really news is it? What IS news however is that Dame Karyn Deborah Meaden has crowbarred her Bad Wolf United off the bottom of the Table for the first time since Week 12. The Bad Wolves notched up an impressive 12 points overtaking the optimistic Ashley Keeler and his appalling It's A Snickers FC.

How long can Dame Meaden hold onto that second-from-bottom position?

Well, it'll certainly keep us, here at Studmarks, awake at night until the end of the season.

Week 31: OFFL Cup Round Two RESULTS

We have a distinct pack of hungry managers gathering in the 290s, all hunting for the blood of the Minions who had their lead slashed by 2 points this week.  When we say 'slashed' we actually mean 'chipped away at'.  Minty Colquhoun's bunch of goggle-wearing yellowskins are still 34 points ahead.
