Week 24: Mally and his lead - too big to reel in?

Trying to reel in Big Mally
proving impossible

A League desperate to reel-in its runaway leaders emits another mournful groan at the news that, in spite of only one Premiership match being played this week, Big Mally has again earned the Manager of the Week certificate by scoring an amazing 15 points.  We say 'amazing' because it was only one match from which FC Maalcoma earned these points.

Amazing.

Not only that but Mr Pratt has deemed it wise to transfer out the very player who snatched most of those points for him... Striker L Podolski ARS.  This is Fantasy Football Management at its flashiest.

We salute you.

Everyone else? Get your transfers in for the OFFL Cup matches scheduled to be played over Week 26.  That is if you're still in the competition, of course.

Week 23: The OFFL Chair

The Baby Chair
As The Chairman plays with the wrapping from his new 'Mini-Me' toy  - and searches the kitchen drawer for the batteries he thinks he needs for it - the League continues to rumble on.

Yet again, the Manager of the Week blanket goes to Dave Clayton.  His Pyeators colic up a large 22 nappies making him even more likely to overtake second car-seat any week soon and start challenging for Big Mally's crumpled ear, wonky toe on one foot and Number One spot.

Highest climber, albeit slowly and steadily whilst firmly gripping on to the handrail as his carer supports his ascent, is Mike Smears.  Irishpool heave themselves up four places.  Meanwhile, Chris Walsh pushes past the Rayner-Vamos debacle and is now third from bottom.  But will his strong weekly performances be enough to see him defeat this week's Manager of the Week in the next round of the OFFL Cup?

Week 22: Mini-Me, Big-Him

West Ham's George McCartney - not on the list
While the Chairman awaits the hatching of his latest narcissistic project - the birth of His very own Mini-Me - Manager of the Week this week is, sadly for the rest of the League, Big-Him Big Mally, Malcolm Pratt.  The Man.  The Beast.

His FC Maalcoma notched up a lead-stretching 17 points to put themselves 17 points ahead of second placers - and reigning Champions - Inter Milandrover.

Meanwhile, Dave Clayton's Pyeators are creeping up on second place themselves.  West Vam's mustering of merry music-makers maintain their melodiously meaningless  meandering, enmeshing themselves mournfully further into the mire.  We still can't believe Mr McCartney WH hasn't made it into the line-up, bass-icly.

Highest climbers this week are Craig McHugh's Real Mcdrid - up four and into joint tenth. A serious challenge for the title Mr McHugh?

You're all very lovely.

OFFL Cup Draw coming soon.

Week 21: OFFL Cup, Group Stage, Results

The Prize

Manager of the Week this week is Dave Clayton, yet again.  His Pyeators is mounting a title challenge by moving into third place in the League with a week's score of 28 points.  That's massive.  Well, it's large for sure.  But has it helped him through to the next round of the OFFL Cup?

By the way, this year's OFFL Cup Winner's Prize is this year's Match of the Day annual.  Yes.  THIS YEAR's annual.  But who's going to win it? Is it you?
